How Halo Works

Personal security, built around your digital life.

No two people, families, or homes have the same digital environment. Halo Atlanta provides private cybersecurity services in Atlanta that start by understanding yours — from home network security to identity and account protection — then defines a personal security engagement around the accounts, devices, identities, and technology that matter most.

Private. Personally scoped. Fixed fee before work begins.

The Halo Process

A clearer way to secure your digital life.

  1. 01

    Assess

Begin with Halo Atlanta's complimentary Digital Security Assessment. The assessment provides an initial picture of your current security practices and digital exposure without asking for passwords, account numbers, or authentication secrets.

    Take the Assessment
  2. 02

    Scope

Meet privately with Halo. We review your assessment, understand your priorities, and clarify the actual environment — including the people, accounts, devices, financial services, online presence, and relevant home technology involved.

  3. 03

    Secure

Receive your Halo Security Engagement. Before work begins, Halo defines the agreed scope and provides one fixed engagement fee. Once approved, Halo works through the agreed environment with you, prioritizing the accounts and systems where stronger security matters most.

  4. 04

    Hand Off

Leave with a stronger, documented security posture. At completion, Halo validates the agreed work and provides a Security Report & Handoff summarizing what was reviewed, what was addressed, remaining recommendations, and important recovery considerations.

  5. 05

    Return When Needed

No required membership. Once the engagement is complete, it is complete. If your digital environment changes materially — a new device, new home, new assistant, new technology, or a security concern — contact Halo and we can determine what additional work makes sense.

What an engagement can cover

One engagement. Defined around you.

Your engagement is based on what Halo identifies during your assessment and private consultation. Depending on your environment, that may include:

Credential & Password Security

Password management, credential consolidation, password reuse, and high-impact account protection.

Identity & Email

Primary email, Apple/Google/Microsoft identities, authentication, account recovery, active sessions, and connected access.

Financial Account Security

Security review of important banking, payment, investment, loan, and other financial platforms where appropriate.

Social & Online Presence

Important social accounts, authentication, account recovery, active sessions, privacy, and public-facing exposure.

Device Security

Phones, computers, and tablets that contain important personal or professional information.

Cloud & Data

Important cloud storage, sharing, connected applications, and access.

Privacy & Digital Exposure

Public information, identity exposure, privacy settings, and opportunities to reduce unnecessary exposure.

Home Technology

Relevant Wi-Fi, network, camera, security, and smart-home technology when included in the engagement.

The areas included in each Halo Security Engagement are determined by the client's assessment, consultation, priorities, and agreed scope. Not every engagement includes every service listed above.

Scoping

Why we don't publish packages.

A single person with two devices may have dozens of important accounts spread across multiple password systems. A family may have a larger technology footprint but an organized security environment. Those situations should not automatically cost the same.

Halo Atlanta scopes each engagement around the environment we actually find rather than forcing clients into a predetermined package.

  • Personally Scoped

We determine what actually needs attention before recommending the work.

  • Fixed Before We Begin

You receive a defined scope and fixed engagement fee before remediation begins.

  • No Running Clock

Halo Security Engagements are not sold as open-ended hourly IT support.

If materially different systems, accounts, users, devices, or security issues are discovered after work begins, Halo discusses the additional scope with you before performing work outside the agreed engagement.

What you receive

More than a checklist.

Each completed engagement may include, as applicable:

Defined Security Scope

A clear understanding of the environment and priorities Halo is addressing.

Hands-On Remediation

Halo works through the agreed security priorities with you.

Security Validation

Important changes and recovery paths are reviewed before completion.

Halo Security Report

A professional record of what was reviewed, what was addressed, and where the agreed environment stands at handoff.

Recovery Guidance

Clear guidance around maintaining access and recovering important accounts.

Recommendations

Anything that remains outside the engagement or deserves attention later is clearly documented.
